*The great majority of applications (86%) went to schools with acceptance rates of under 30%. On average my client group applied to 3 schools with a range of 1 to 6 schools.
* Schools in my client group during the 2008 admission cycle had an approximate average increase of 20% in applications vs. 2007.

Clients applied to a total of 24 different business schools.

The most applied schools in 2008 in my client group were:
1)       Kellogg
2)       MIT
3)       Columbia / NYU
4)       Chicago / Harvard / Stanford

The most acceptances came from:
1)       Kellogg
2)       NYU
3)       Babson / Carnegie Mellon
4)       HBS / Stanford / Chicago / MIT / Cornell / Columbia / INSEAD

Other acceptances came from: Boston College, Berkeley, Dartmouth, IESE, Instituto de Empresa, Machester, Notre Dame, Southern Methodist Univ., Univ. of Michigan, University of North Carolina.

Many that applied to just ONE school did so despite the advice NOT to apply at all this year due to their low GMATs (below 600 points) and/or their meager work experience (less than 2.5 years). This group experienced a much higher rejection rate than the rest.
